NABL Accreditation

Medical Laboratories and Diagnostic Centers form an integral part of our health care industry. In most cases, the diagnosis and line of treatment of a person is dependent on the test results provided by these laboratories. Incorrect results may lead to potentially fatal consequences. Hence it is critical to get accurate results each and every time a test is conducted. Over the past few decades, India has witnessed the emergence of several such laboratories. Hence NABL (National Accreditation Board for Testing and Calibration Laboratories) was established to provide Government, Industry Associations and Industry in general with a system for third party assessment of testing and calibration labs. NABL is the sole accreditation body for Testing and Calibration Laboratories authorized by the Government of India.
